Yea a D/E with a few earth magic defensive skills would work better, but since [[Conjure Obsidian](if your weapon deals earth damage you deal +5...17(21) damage) doesn't exist; [[Armor of Frost] and [[Conjure Frost] would be a better choice.
Though it does make me wonder, what about a [[Ether Renewal] + [[Mystic Twister] Build...

That build is bad, too. Which doesn't really matter as long as you are playing NM. If you have fun with it there, go have fun. You will be able to beat the game with almost anything in NM.
Just don't think you have an effective build

I don't play normal mode. It's much more fun to play this than wait for [[Sandstorm]], [[Churning Earth]], or whatever long recharge offensive Earth Magic there is.

Haha, I've always wondered what a conjure earth would be called. I'm liking the idea of the Water Magic line. I also have one of the Necro heroes slap on [[Strength of Honour]] for an 11 damage bonus.

It's like giving a monk earth magic spells. Good defense but missing the talent.
Ele's are built for mid-line.
Enchantment reliable builds almost fail. In every PvE area there is going to be some enchantment denial.
There is a reason why you don't see monks with [[armor of earth]. You don't tank with something not tank built.
It's like eating cereal with a fork. It's possible but might have trouble and there is a better way.

Proves your not doing enough damage. [[Strength of Honor]?? for PvE???? GG

If I would offer some advice. Switch elite for [[Onslaught].

Having [[Strength of Honor] on does not prove I am not doing enough damage. According to the Master of Damage, I do about 65 dps; which, to me, is fine and much better than the normal ele dps. But here's the question: why not have an extra enchantment on you? Especially if it's maintainable and provides the enchantment needed for mystic. Plus, it saves you from having to cast an extra enchantment. The necro has pretty much unlimited energy... so what's wrong with utilising some of it?
Onslaught got a better update and I have tried it out. Though I'm more inclined to using [[Dwarven Stability]. I usually attack once, then mystic, then reapers. By the time I get the first two hit down, the enemy is usually below half health, so it's fine.
By saying enchantment reliable builds fail, you're saying that pretty much every dervish fails.
Cover enchantments are nice to have. AoE and Stonestriker do that fine. While I agree that Armour of Earth is not great to have, and thus I don't use it often, it comes in handy as both a cover when you know you don't want Aura of Holy Might of be shattered and when you certainly don't want a whole bunch of melee to go after your healer. PvE is easy enough to make enemies go after you.
Vanquishing two continents with [[Lightning Surge][[Lightning Orb] gets boring very quickly. Going with Earth Magic is like: BRB guys, skills recharging. And it sucks when you only get one dude in churning earth.
